My Dah’lings, you said it, and I listened. I was honestly a little bit hesitant with this whole look but after a resoundingly positive review from you guys I decided to launch my #13DaysOfHalloween Tutorial series with this mischievous Ethereal Sprite / Avant-Garde makeup look.

This look is fairly versatile. All you would need to do to transform it from a sprite to a mermaid would just be to change the color palette that you use and add scales or chunky glitter. I wanted to make this look reasonably accessible to everyone, so all you need is your eye makeup, highlighter, and whatever cream color you’d like. You do not have to have the MUFE Flash Palette if you do not own it. Tons of brands, especially around Halloween, carry cream paints. However, if you are in a pinch, you can always use a cream blusher, lipstick, or an NYX Jumbo Eye Penciletherealsprite-avantgarde-makeuptutorial-ohjaechaos-13daysofhalloween-2

I will say that between the stippling of the colors to get all that yummy texture and gluing the gems and various flowers on, this tutorial did take a little longer than usual. With that being said, if you would like to rock this look on Halloween, be sure to give yourself some extra time. Oh, and tag me in your photo because I wanna see!!!

  1. I would love to try this with real pressed flowers which I’ve seen for sale at Michael’s but are easy to DIY. Love how versatile this look is!
